Biography
Ken has been blessed with a wonderful family. In 1992, Ken married Christine, his Lewis University sweetheart. Soon after came the first of several additions to this vibrant family. Ken and Chris have five children, Maggie (16), Sheila (15), Bridget (12), Sean (9) and Liam (7). For the past fifteen years, the McCafferty family has called Plainfield Township home. They live in Precinct 20, which is north of Caton Farm Road in the Grand Prairie subdivision.
Ken's education includes a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Saint Francis and a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Lewis University.
Ken is a fourth grade teacher in the Plainfield School District. Prior to teaching, Ken spent eleven years managing a home electronics store. Having been a successful retail manager has offered Ken the management skills that are so important to being a township trustee. Ken understands how to work within a budget. He knows how to make difficult decisions that result in the best outcome. He is accountable to no one but the people to whom he serves. He is a fiscal conservative understanding the incredible responsibility it is to be a steward of the taxpayers money. He is open-minded, fair and compassionate. Most importantly, he wants to continue to be your voice in the township.
